Bridging the Uptake Gap

Evidence-based good practice for increasing vaccination confidence and uptake among Black African and Black African Caribbean populations.

This new toolkit is made up of six components:

  1. Data insights
  2. Collaborative working
  3. Using the Connect and Exchange Hub to find and share what works
  4. Using high-profile and trusted voices to support vaccine uptake
  5. Using targeted conversations to boost vaccine confidence
  6. Using culturally appropriate venues

These have been developed based on good practice examples from within the vaccine deployment programme and the Connect and Exchange Hub:

Join the millions

The new campaign for under 50s is ‘join the millions’. The campaign resource centre has a range of materials, mainly digital or posters at the moment. New assets including posters, social statics, animations and web banners can be found in the NHS Resource Centre:
